Morning Assembly – Important Update

With illnesses going rampant, CILA is implementing a change to assembly to help curb the spread of germs.  Starting Monday, February 5th, we will not hold K-2nd grade assemblies in the student center anymore. Teachers will pick their classes from the student center at 7.45am. Students eating breakfast at school will still have time to do so.

Parents are still welcome to walk their students in. No parents will be permitted beyond the front desk. Announcements, the BEARS song, and the Pledge of Allegiance will be made over our PA system from the classroom.

The Masquerade Dance will take place on Thursday, February 8th from 5-7pm. We are looking for volunteers to help setup, during, and break down. If you are interested in volunteering, please use the link below.

The PTO is looking for volunteers to help plan the World’s Fair. If you are interested in being on the planning committee, please reach out at pto-pres@cilaschool.org. 

The next PTO General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 13th at 5:30pm in the Student Center. A link to join virtually will be provided closer to the date.

Science Matters: $72, Mondays 3:15-4:15 limited space available

Many parents ask throughout the year what the school needs.  Currently we need more of the items listed below.  Please make sure you leave a note with any donated items that includes your name so the PTO can count items toward volunteer time.  Items may be dropped off at the front desk.

• Ziploc Bags – quart and gallon sizes needed. 
• Disinfectant wipes

Asamblea de la mañana – Actualización importante

Con las enfermedades rampantes, CILA está implementando un cambio en la asamblea para ayudar a frenar la propagación de gérmenes. A partir del lunes 5 de febrero, ya no realizaremos asambleas de grados K-2 en el centro de estudiantes.Los profesores recogerán sus clases en el centro de estudiantes a las 7.45 a.m. Los estudiantes que desayunen en la escuela todavía tendrán tiempo para hacerlo.

Los padres aún pueden acompañar a sus estudiantes. Ningún padre podrápermitido más allá de la recepción. Los anuncios, la canción de BEARS y el juramento a la bandera se harán a través de nuestro sistema de megafonía desde elaula.

El baile de máscaras se llevará a cabo el jueves 8 de febrero de 5 a 7 p.m. Estamos buscando voluntarios para ayudar a preparar, durante y desarmar. Si está interesado en ser voluntario, utilice el siguiente enlace.

El PTO está buscando voluntarios para ayudar a planificar la Feria Mundial. Si está interesado en formar parte del comité de planificación, comuníquese con pto-pres@cilaschool.org.

La próxima Asamblea General del PTO se llevará a cabo el martes 13 de febrero a las 5:30 pm en el Centro de Estudiantes. Se proporcionará un enlace para unirse virtualmente cuando se acerque la fecha.

SE NECESITAN DONACIONES
Muchos padres preguntan a lo largo del año qué necesita el colegio. Actualmente necesitamos más de los artículos que se enumeran a continuación. Asegúrese de dejar una nota con cualquier artículo donado que incluya su nombre para que el PTO pueda contar los artículos para el tiempo de voluntariado. Los artículos se pueden dejar en la recepción.
