King Soopers Community Rewards

Employment Opportunity
Our Food Service Authority D11 is looking to fill positions in CILA’s cafeteria. If you are interested, please apply with D11.
Every Friday – Jeans for Dreams
On Fridays students can wear the CILA spirit t-shirt instead of polos.
Also, every Friday, students can donate $1 to wear jeans. Donations are part of our Jeans for Dreams campaign.
Chess Club Update
Mr. McCall had such an overwhelming interest in Chess Club that we need to divide it into 2 sections every other week. Grades 4 and 5 will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month, and Grade 3 will be on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month. Just a reminder: younger siblings need to be picked up normally and cannot hang out unsupervised while chess club is happening. We appreciate your cooperation.

A Message from the PTO
The PTO has created a Google Form for CILA families to fill out regarding volunteer hours, interests, and other questions. We are asking that all families have at least one person fill out the form which will help the PTO keep better track of individuals that are volunteering to meet their 30 hours per family.

The PTO Fun Run is taking place on Friday, September 29th. Students will bring a pledge form and schedule home this week. The donations will help the PTO continue to provide events throughout the school year to our CILA community.

Actualización del club de ajedrez
El Sr. McCall tenía un interés tan abrumador en Chess Club que necesitamos dividirlo en dos secciones cada dos semanas. Los grados 4 y 5 serán el primer y tercer martes de cada mes, y el grado 3 será el segundo y cuarto martes de cada mes. Solo un recordatorio: los hermanos menores deben ser recogidos normalmente y no pueden pasar el rato sin supervisión mientras se lleva a cabo el club de ajedrez. Apreciamos tu cooperación.

Un mensaje del PTO
El PTO ha creado un formulario de Google para que las familias de CILA lo completen con respecto a las horas de voluntariado, intereses y otras preguntas. Estamos pidiendo que todas las familias tengan al menos una persona que complete el formulario, lo que ayudará al PTO a realizar un mejor seguimiento de las personas que se ofrecen como voluntarias para cumplir con sus 30 horas por familia.

La carrera divertida del PTO se llevará a cabo el viernes 29 de septiembre.th. Los estudiantes traerán a casa un formulario de compromiso y un horario esta semana. Las donaciones ayudarán al PTO a continuar ofreciendo eventos durante todo el año escolar a nuestra comunidad CILA.
