Vision and Hearing Screening
Our school nurse, Melissa Miller, will be conducting vision and hearing screenings for our students on October 20th. We are in need of volunteers to assist her. We will need two volunteers to conduct the vision screening. Mrs. Miller will train these volunteers. An additional two people are needed to escort classes from their rooms to the screening area. Volunteers need to be available from 7:45am to about 2pm. If you are interested, please sign up here:
A Message from the PTO
Thank you to the entire CILA community for your pledges for the Fun Run. As of last week the Fun Run has raised a total of $6407 in funds! These donations will help us to continue to provide International Days, Family Events throughout the school year, Teacher Appreciation Week gifts, World’s Fair, etc.
If you have not yet turned in your pledges for the Fun Run and would like to still do so to help us reach our goal of $8000 you can still do so via check, cash, or Venmo (@CILAPTO7-22).
In the month of October the PTO has the Bake Sale (the 20th and 21st), International Day (Ukraine) and Trunk or Treat. We look forward to seeing you at these events!
If anyone is able to donate cardboard boxes (i.e. Amazon shipping boxes) for our Ukrainian craft for International Day please email the PTO!!

The first round of PT conferences for the year will happen October 11th and 13th. Please sign up for a conference slot if you have not done so yet.

de visión y audición
Nuestra enfermera escolar, Melissa Miller, realizará exámenes de visión y audición para nuestros estudiantes el 20 de octubre. Necesitamos voluntarios para ayudarla. Necesitaremos dos voluntarios para realizar el examen de la vista. La Sra. Miller entrenará a estos voluntarios. Se necesitan dos personas adicionales para acompañar a las clases desde sus habitaciones hasta el área de proyección. Los voluntarios deben estar disponibles desde las 7:45 a. m. hasta las 2 p. m. Un mensaje del PTO
Gracias a toda la comunidad de CILA por sus compromisos para la carrera divertida. ¡Hasta la semana pasada, Fun Run ha recaudado un total de $6407 en fondos! Estas donaciones nos ayudarán a continuar brindando Días Internacionales, Eventos Familiares durante todo el año escolar, regalos para la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros, Feria Mundial, etc.
Si aún no ha entregado sus compromisos para la Carrera Divertida y desea hacerlo para ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestra meta de $8000, aún puede hacerlo mediante cheque, efectivo o Venmo (@CILAPTO7-22).
